Founded by the Bousema Family in May 2024, Kartula Adventures is a small business nestled in the heart of the Bushveld, Steenbokpan, South Africa. Our mission is to open a window into the breathtaking bushveld landscape, sharing the richness of our diverse culture and creating unforgettable experiences for every tourist who joins us.
Every adventure we embark on with our clients is an opportunity to craft a lasting story, one that reflects the beauty of the African people and their way of life. What starts as a journey between client and guide quickly turns into a week of friendship and connection. We have carefully selected experiences that give you the authentic feel of Africa, while also supporting the conservation of our animals, landscapes, and communities.

With South Africa’s unemployment rate at 32%, we are deeply committed to giving back by creating job opportunities in our local community. Our coffee shop and deli serve as a platform for local artisans and farmers from the Lesedi community to sell their handmade gifts, ensuring that our impact extends beyond tourism and into the heart of our people.
